Runners take off at the start of the Piper's Promise 5-kilometer and one-mile run in downtown Goldsboro on Saturday morning. The run was held to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House and Riley's Army in Greenville, which helped the family of 11-month-old Piper Wilhide while she was battling cancer.
