A Goldsboro man wanted by Goldsboro police for burglary and assault with a deadly weapon, was arrested for indecent exposure in Raleigh on Monday and gave authorities there a false name.

Bryan Marquaill Williams was charged by the Raleigh Police Department after he was caught in the pool at the Mariott City Center exposing himself to another man. He was charged with indecent exposure and second-degree trespassing and held under the name he gave police -- Derrick Antonio Maye, 27.

Derrick Maye turned out to be Williams, of Goldsboro.

Williams was charged Wednesday by the Goldsboro Police Department with first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and assault with a deadly weapon in the presence of a minor.

He is currently being held in the Wake County Detention Center under a $750,000 and also is wanted on an unspecified fugitive warrant from another state.

The burglary and assault charges stem from a break-in at 1004 Slaughter St. on July 2. During the burglary, 31-year-old Shawn Stevens was stabbed with a butcher knife.

Stevens was treated and released at Wayne Memorial Hospital, and police recovered the weapon at the scene.

According to court records, Derrick Antonio Maye has an appearance in Wake County Court scheduled Oct. 2, and Bryan Marquail Williams is due in Wayne County District Court this morning.
