The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce will hold a legislative wrap-up breakfast, on Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Lane Tree Golf Club.
All five members of the county's delegation to the General Assembly are expected to attend: Sens. Louis Pate and Don Davis and Reps. Larry Bell, Jimmy Dixon and John Bell.
The breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 8.
Each legislator will give a short presentation on the recently ended session in Raleigh, discussing issues such as tax laws, small business legislation, education, military issues and health care. Afterward, they will answer some prepared questions and then take questions from the audience.
The breakfast is open to the public but seating is limited. Tickets are $10. Reservations can be made by contacting laral@wayne countychamber.com.
The Goldsboro News-Argus is the presenting sponsor of the event and the Pate-Dawson Co. is a silver sponsor.
