Drug squad seizes $15,000 in narcotics

The Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Squad seized approximately $15,000 in narcotics Tuesday, Aug 6, as a result of an investigation that culminated in two arrests.
Brandon Lee Hobbs, 26, of 113 Reavis Drive, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession, and maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of a controlled substance. He was released on a $5,000 secured bond, according to an official with the Office of the Wayne County Clerk of Court.
Another man, 18-year-old Ashe Harrison Sullivan was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and MDMA (ecstasy), possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Sullivan was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $12,000 secured bond, according to a press release issued Friday by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
The arresting officers seized two firearms and approximately $15,000 in MDMA and high-grade marijuana.
