Seminar on the Constitution to be offered this week

The annual Camp Liberty will be held once again this week, focusing on the U.S. Constitution.
Held at Victory Free Will Baptist Church, 1806 Wayne Memorial Drive, Camp Liberty is described by organizers as "a Constitution seminar on the foundation of America," featuring various speakers and Constitutional specialists.
The camp, which also has classes for both children and adults, will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Saturday. A nursery also will be provided.
Cost is $10 per person or $20 per family and includes refreshments and a Saturday lunch.
Among the local speakers will be state Reps. John Bell, R-Wayne, and Jimmy Dixon, R-Duplin, and state Sen. Louis Pate, R-Wayne. Other speakers will include David C. Gibbs III, attorney and president of the National Center for Life and Liberty; Dr. Gene Gurganus, Islamic awareness ministry; KrisAnne Hall, attorney, former prosecutor and disabled U.S. Army veteran; and Becki Gray, vice president of outreach for the John Locke Foundation.
