Arts Council is seeking applicants for grants

The Arts Council of Wayne County is accepting subgrant applications for the North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Program through Aug. 2
Grants are for nonprofit organizations whose purpose is to promote and develop diverse cultural arts programming in Wayne County. Priority is given to qualified arts organizations such as theaters, galleries, choral societies and festivals; arts in education programs conducted by qualified artists; and other community organizations that provide arts programs in the county.
Projects must take place between Oct. 1, 2013, and May 31, 2014.
Forms and guidelines are available at the Arts Council office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and online at www.artsinwayne.org.
