Hospital honors volunteer of the year

Wayne Memorial Hospital recently honored its outstanding volunteers for service over the past year.
Gene Angstadt was named volunteer of the year.
The Rosa Christian Koch Award, presented to a volunteer who exemplifies outstanding customer service skills, went to Sue Nobers. Carolyn Clapp received the special recognition award, presented to a new volunteer who made a notable contribution of time and service.
Recognized for having contributing more than 300 hours during 2012 were Chris Amon, Mary Bannon, Alice Farmer, Barbara Fredericks, Gene Fredericks, Sandra Ingram, Helen Jackson and Vivian Dail.
