Rabies clinic will be held on April 27

Rabies vaccination clinics will be sponsored by the County of Wayne on Saturday, April 27, at Grantham Elementary School from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and at Southern Wayne High School from 1 p.m until 3 p.m.
The cost will be $10 per dog or cat.
The owner of every dog and cat over four months of age is required to have the animal vaccinated against rabies. Any animal receiving its first of rabies vaccine shall receive another dose one year later and every three years thereafter.
Proof of prior rabies vaccination is required to receive a three-year vaccination. If proof is not provided, a one-year vaccination will be administered.
