Pikeville budget session April 9

PIKEVILLE -- The Pikeville Town Board will meet April 9 to begin discussions about the town's 2013-14 budget.
The board met Monday night for its regular monthly meeting and set the date for budget workshops to begin. The workshop will start at 5:30 p.m.
Topics to be considered among the normal budget items will be billing losses, which Mayor Johnny Weaver said would be helpful in determining the upcoming spending plan.
Also, the Police Department will bring up its request for equipment.
In other business, the town's annual spring cleanup will be held Monday, April 29.
