Windsor Creek water to be shut off Wednesday

Residents of the Windsor Creek subdivision are being encouraged to plan accordingly for a four-hour water shutoff this week.
Goldsboro spokesperson Kim Best said crews will need to shut off the water in the neighborhood off Wayne Memorial Drive from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday to install a 12-inch valve.
In case of rain, the shutoff will be performed Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Mrs. Best said residents were made aware of the shutoff by hand-delivered doorhangers sharing more details about it.
