Last chance to register for spring classes at WCC

Wayne Community College will hold one more registration for spring classes.

Registration for Spring II condensed courses will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 26 on the college's main campus in Goldsboro and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 20 through March 6 at the Watkins-Das Education Center on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Students can choose from dozens of classes that provide a full semester's material in an eight-week format, such as Equine Production, Suspension and Steering Systems, to Business, Introduction to Computers, Public Speaking, Principles of Microeconomics, CNC Turning, College Algebra, Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to New Testament, Social Problems and more.

Those classes will begin March 6 and end May 8.

Before students can register, they must complete the admission process, including taking placement tests. The application and instructions are available at the college's website, the admissions office on the main campus and the offices on base.

Tuition and fees must be paid by 4 p.m. on March 4. Students who have not completed the financial aid process are urged to do so immediately or funds may not be available when payment is due.
