No injuries in Tuesday robbery

No one was hurt Tuesday during a mid-morning robbery at a Goldsboro gas station and convenience store.
According to Goldsboro police, the robber walked into the Wilco Hess convenience store at 420 E. New Hope Road just after 10 a.m., and indicated to the clerk that he was carrying a concealed weapon.
The clerk did not resist, and the suspect fled with $194 in cash.
No customers were inside the store at the time of the robbery, and no witnesses have come forward to help identify the thief.
The robber was described as wearing a hooded jacket, light colored pants, a full face mask and gloves.
