No injuries when bus hit

There were no injuries and no citations issued Wednesday afternoon when a construction vehicle struck a school bus in Pikeville, according to a spokesperson with Wayne County Public Schools.
Bus 108, which was transporting students from Norwayne Middle School, was traveling along the 300 block of East Main Street in town when the minor accident occurred about 3:45 p.m.
An AlertNow message was sent out to parents and guardians shortly afterward to notify them of the incident, which damaged the mirrors of both vehicles.
The students were transferred to another school bus before being transported home.
