JCC seeks entries for Howell Woodstock photography contest

Johnston Community College is seeking entries for a photo contest associated with its upcoming Howell Woodstock event at the Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center on Saturday, Nov. 10.
A panel of local artists will judge photos entered in three age categories: age 9-12, age 13-17, and adult. Photos must depict flora (plant life), fauna (animal life) or landscape.
The judges will select three winners in each age category, which will be announced at Howell Woodstock.
Photo entries must be submitted to Gloria Kutscheid in the Arts Building on the main campus in Smithfield or to Katrina McDougald at the Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center near Four Oaks by Wednesday, Oct. 31.
