A mid-afternoon shooting in the 900 block of Seaboard Street on Saturday left two wounded.
Dwayne Lee Hardy, 28 and Bridgette Lashaya Weeks, 23, were both hit when unidentified shooters opened fire on them and others just after 2 p.m.
Hardy was struck in the left leg, and Ms. Weeks was hit in the right foot, according to a Goldsboro Police Department report. Both were transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The report states that bullet holes were discovered in the left rear door of a vehicle parked along the street and in the exterior wall of a residence on Seaboard Street. The rounds passed through the wall and a back window and left holes in furniture inside the home.
The crime scene was processed by investigators, but no suspects were listed on the report. If any are identified, charges will include assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, firing into an occupied dwelling and damage to property.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Goldsboro Police Department at 919-580-4214.
