Academic Abundance gets grant

Academic Abundance, a local non-profit organization in Goldsboro, received a $75,000 second- year grant from the North Carolina Division of Public Health aimed at lowering teen pregnancy rates.
The grant will allow the non-profit to continue serving students at Hobbton High School in Newton Grove.
Academic Abundance is dedicated to providing quality services to people in need and empowering lives through education.
The organization provides jobs skills seminars, reading nights and mentoring programs , among other programs.
