Man, 23, dies after Saturday shooting

Wayne County lawmen are currently looking for a "person of interest" in connection with a shooting that killed a 23-year-old early Saturday morning.
Uber Ortiz Salas, of 130 White Dogwood Lane, was pronounced dead at Wayne Memorial Hospital not long after deputies responded to a 2 a.m. call of shots fired.
Little else has been made public about the investigation, but officials from the Wayne Sheriff's Office would say that witnesses have been identified and interviewed -- that a "person of interest" has been developed and is, at this time, being sought for questioning.
