Chamber Jr. Leadership program seeking applicants

The 2012-13 Junior Leadership Wayne County Program is seeking applicants.
Participants will begin the program with a one-day orientation and then spend six days throughout the year focusing on a variety of topics. Participants will have an opportunity to visit places involving local government, industry, healthcare, history, education, military and agri-business. The students will learn more about Wayne County and about career opportunities they may not have considered.
Junior Leadership Wayne County is open to all high school juniors who attend public, private, home school or parochial schools in the county.
Applicants must have at least a "B" grade-point average and demonstrate leadership in school and community activities.
The application deadline is Sept. 20. Applications can be picked up at any of the county high schools, the Chamber of Commerce or downloaded from www.waynecounty chamber.com.
