Breaking and entering from within jail
A break-in occurred in the most unlikely of places -- the Wayne County Correctional Center. The Goldsboro Police Department was contacted by the State Bureau of Investigation Tuesday to process a scene at the N.C. Department of Corrections, 700 Stevens Mill Road.
An unknown person broke into and entered an unspecified area within the facility. SBI personnel were unavailable to process the scene and the damaged deadbolt had already been replaced when GPD arrived.
