A Sunday train ride

Children enjoy a ride on the Kiwanis miniature train at Herman Park on Sunday afternoon during "Sunday in the Park," an event sponsored by the Goldsboro Parks and Recreation Department. Family fun at the park included games, food, local artwork and a farmers' market as well as entertainment by the Donald Thompson Band. The Flat Mountain Dulcimers will perform at the event on Sept. 2.
