Thefts
The following thefts are being investigated by Goldsboro police:
*A gold 2012 Chevrolet Impala was stolen Friday from the parking lot of Brookside Mart, 2000 S. Slocumb St. The vehicle was rented from Express Car Rental, LLC., 3300 U.S. 70 E. It is valued at $15,000.
*A residence at 701 N. Alabama Ave. was stripped of its copper piping and air conditioning units. Thieves broke into the vacant home through the crawl space, removed pipes from in and under the house and damaged the air-conditioning unit while removing its copper coil. The damage and stolen copper were reported to be worth $5,530.
