WCC instructor to train others in country

Craig Foucht, chairman of the transportation department at Wayne Community College, has been chosen to train other automotive instructors from around the country.
He will participate in the torque certification course of the National Coalition of Certification Centers, or NC3, Transportation, "Train-the-Trainer 7" program in Kenosha, Wis., today through Friday.
Foucht will be teaching other college and university instructors who in turn will train students and professionals in their communities. His curriculum will cover the proper tightening of fasteners and participants will be trained on various torque instruments, such as Snap-on mechanical and electrical torque tools and Hytorc hydraulic torque tools, then tested and certified.
NC3 is a network of education providers and corporations that supports, advances, and validates new and emerging technology skills in the transportation, aviation, and energy industry sectors. It develops implements and sustains industry-recognized portable certifications built on national skill standards.
