Angela Kuhlman watches as Lillian plays with her pals, Short Round, in carrier, and William.

Well, you made it happen.

As you read this, Schootch, William and Short Round are getting ready for their final flight -- to London's Heathrow Airport.

It took many phone calls and some help from some really kind personnel at United Airlines, but we managed to get the details worked out and all three family pets started their journeys early, early Friday morning.

Needless to say, there were plenty of kitty protests and William looked a little bit sad as his mom said goodbye, but we knew they were in good hands. William seemed to feel better knowing his cat buddies were with him.

They traveled first to Houston, where they were housed in style, courtesy of United Airlines, at the airline's pet kennel for two days while they waited for their London departure, which was scheduled for this afternoon.

They should arrive in London just as the rest of their family, Angela and Pete, and little Lillian, land.

We can only imagine the tail-wagging and happy meows that will follow.

After that, it is home to their new address at RAF Lakenheath.

Angela and Pete have both promised pictures, and as we promised, we will share them with you.

Angela says William already thinks he is pretty special -- after all, William is kind of an important name in Great Britain.

We are sure they will build many memories together.

We are wrapping up 12 Paws and a Prayer. See our final thoughts and totals later this week.
