King wins re-election, board sees little turnover

Goldsboro Mayor Al King won re-election Tuesday night, besting challenger Henry Jinette.
In District 1, Councilman Michael Headen beat challenger Kyle Pritchard by a wide margin.
In District 2, Bill Broadaway won his uncontested race.
In District 3, William Goodman will return to the City Council after defeating Ben Farlow in a landslide.
In District 4, Councilman the Rev. Charles Williams edged out challenger Tondalayo Clark to retain his seat.
In District 5, Councilman Chuck Allen held off a write-in campaign to win re-election.
And in District 6, Gene Aycock handidly defeated fellow political newcomber Fran Kasey.
