Student awarded for donation efforts

Yamiaya Dunn, a recent graduate of Goldsboro High School, has won a $50 gift card from the American Red Cross. She won the card by sponsoring a blood drive back in May at her school.
Miss Dunn exceeded her goal of 40 units, collecting 43. That amount has the potential of saving the lives of more than 125 people.
Miss Dunn is now in the running for a $1,000 scholarship through the Red Cross Bloodstock program.
