Downtown street work to close part of Mulberry all day Saturday

Construction on the Center Street Streetscape project in downtown Goldsboro will impact traffic further Saturday as the contractors will be installing an electrical conduit across Mulberry Street.
Mulberry Street will be closed to all traffic from Center Street west to James Street for most of the day Saturday, according to a press release.
Officials said the street would be closed from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, with traffic expected to return to normal in the eastbound lane Sunday.
The westbound lane of Mulberry Street between James and John streets will continue to be closed into next week.
