Bentonville site to hold Second Saturday Living History

Bentonville Battlefield will hold its monthly Second Saturday Living History event, "Civil War Camp Life," from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Re-enactors will depict how Civil War soldiers lived in camp and the role enlisted men played in battle. Period-costumed living historians from the 18th NC/53rd PA and 1st NC/11th NC will demonstrate how soldiers made meals, maintained their weapons and uniforms, trained for battle, and much more. The day also will feature musket and artillery demonstrations.
