More than 300 people took part in the 16th annual Hal Plonk Mayoral Committee Disability Awareness Walk in Goldsboro. Several organizations that deal with people who have disabilities, including Wayne Opportunity Center, took part in the walk. The marching band from Eastern Wayne High School also took part. The five-block march started at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
