Deputies investigate armed robbery
Three men reported they were robbed at gun point while outside of a home in Pikeville about 12:30 a.m. Friday.
Fredy Lopez, Jose Montero and Mike Everette told Wayne County sheriff's deputies they were at Everette's home in the 200 block of Little Dove Road when a white car pulled in front of the home and came to a stop.
Two men stepped out of the car, pulled out pistols and pointed the firearms at the men.
Everette told deputies he was ordered to the ground and one of the suspects stole approximately $300 from his pockets then began to kick him in his side.
The second suspect held Lopez and Montero at gunpoint and robbed them of $250.
Before the armed men left the scene, one of them took the keys from Montero's vehicle, which was parked nearby.
Deputies responded but were unable to locate the suspects.
