SEVEN SPRINGS -- The Old Timey Days festival held in Seven Springs is a week away, but organizers are already starting to plan for next year's festival.

The new town website, sevenspringsnc.com, should be up and running by the end of June. Next year, vendor applications and festival information will be available on the website. Fundraisers will also be held throughout the year so the town will be able to have even more activities at the festival.

Miss Goldsboro Blair Mozingo and Miss North Carolina Hailey Best will be at the festival on Saturday.

Mckenzie Henson, 7, from Mount Olive will be clogging at the festival. Gaylon Pope & SweetWater and flutist Daniel Tull will also be performing, along with the Spring Creek High School band and chorus.

The performances will be held throughout the day, starting at 10 a.m. and running until 3 p.m.

Cliffs of the Neuse will be offering canoe rides with reservations the morning of the festival.

In the kid's corner, there will be a fossil dig, petting zoo with pony rides, inflatable games and a game area provided by Goldsboro Parks and Recreation.

At 10 a.m., there will be a cornhole and horseshoe tournament. A pageant will start at 11 a.m. at town hall.

Most festival activities will be held on Main Street and there will be designated areas for parking. About 1,200 people attended last year.

More than 30 food, craft and information vendors will be on hand. For information, visit neuserivertrading.com.
