Law enforcement officers are investigating these reports:
*David Onstine said someone stole a $2,000 air conditioner from the rear of a rental home in the 1900 block of Pinemont Circle between April 30 and Thursday.
*D'Keya Nickerson said her purse was stolen from a shopping cart in the parking lot of Food Lion grocery on Ash Street on April 27. She told authorities she left her purse in the cart after she finished shopping. After realizing what she had done, Ms. Nickerson returned to the store, but was unable to locate the purse. The value of the purse and its contents was more than $300.
