Teddy Bear Picnic planned for Wednesday in city

The Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation invites the community out for a lunchtime filled with tall tales and adventures Wednesday from noon until 1 p.m.
This year's Teddy Bear Picnic will take place at Cornerstone Commons at the corner of Center and Chestnut streets.
Event-goers are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, something to sit on, and their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal.
Guest readers from the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Library and the Wayne County Public Library will share stories throughout the hour.
In the event of inclement weather, the picnic will be canceled.
