Blue Revue Pageant Saturday

The Zeta Chi Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta sorority will hold its Miss Blue Revue Pageant at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Paramount Theatre.
The Miss Blue Revue Pageant is a scholarship and comprehensive educational program that focuses on etiquette, community service and college preparation for high school students.
The six students competing in this year's pageant are:
* Brianna Coor, New Bern High School, daughter of Anthony Patrick and Paritta Coor
* Katrina Williams, Eastern Wayne High School, daughter of Ida and Walter Speight
* Janell Mills, Charles B. Aycock High School, daughter of Shontrell Parker and Thomas Mills
* Crystall Maye, Charles B. Aycock High School, daughter of Jay and Monica Maye
* Marquasia Jones, Charles B. Aycock High School, daughter of Charolette Burnette
* Philicia Thompson, Southern Wayne High School, daughter of Roy and Tanya Thompson.
Each student will win a scholarship, with amounts varying based on how they place.
The pageant is free and open to the public.
