The sight of fighter jets coming in for landing is familiar to those who live in the communities that surround Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
They see it nearly every day.
But when that scene unfolds Friday afternoon, it will be anything but typical for a group of people gathered along the installation flight line.
It will mean their loved ones -- their heroes -- are home from war ... at last.
Members of the 335th Fighter Squadron are scheduled to mark the end of their six-month tour at Bagram, Afghanistan, Friday, with several hundred more airmen set to follow a few days later.
And during their latest deployment, they successfully provided air power, courtesy of 4th Fighter Wing F-15E Strike Eagles, to Coalition forces fighting on the ground.
