*Karla Griffin reported the theft of a trailer loaded with materials from her property in the 400 block of Main Street that occurred after 11 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday.
The trailer is valued at $800, which contained various timber and two chain saws that had a total value of $800.
*David Thornton reported a break-in at his home in the 3800 block of N.C. 55 West in Seven Springs that resulted in the theft of more than $7,000 in property. Entry was made Thursday by breaking out a bedroom window. Stolen goods included jewelry, a flat-screen TV, a laptop computer, an XBOX game console and a digital camera.
