*Ted Ivey, of Goldsboro Milling Company, reported the theft of a $2,000 wire welder and a $900 air compressor from the business' property, located at 435 Dogwood Trail. The theft occurred Sunday. Ivey told authorities he went the property and found the locks cut from the perimeter gate and a door to the building. A nearby area light was cut to disable it, according to the report. Ivey also said the air compressor was recently purchased because a previous one had been stolen.

*Ray Curtis reported a break-in at his home in the 100 block of Gainey Drive that occurred Sunday. After a carport door was forced open, more than $6,000 of property was stolen, including a PlayStation 3, two laptops, a 55-inch television, a 47-inch television, an AK-47, a Ruger .44-caliber Redhawk revolver and a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun.

*John Williams, county facilities services employee, reported that $25 of copper pipe was stolen form the Wayne County Heath Department, located at 301 N. Herman St. The theft occurred between Friday and Sunday. The copper was cut from the building's central air unit.

*Kay Jewelers employee Syrena Bryant reported the theft of a $1,795 Movado men's watch and a $495 Movado women's watch from the business, located at 621 N. Berkeley Blvd., that occurred on Saturday.
