*Juston Dungea reported a break-in at his home in the 500 block of East Beech Street that occurred on Saturday. During the break-in more than $1,500 of property was stolen, including two game systems, two laptops and video games. Entry was made through a window. Blood was found at the scene left by the suspect(s) cut during entry.
*Kermit Thompson reported the theft of $1,500 of steel. Thompson then found the stolen goods at Kemp Recyclers after the suspect(s) had sold it. The incident was reported on Friday.
*Floyd Andres of loss prevention at Berkeley Mall reported the larceny of six men's polo shirts, valued at $523, from Belk on Sunday.
*Sean Nielson reported a break-in to a business at 3009 E. Ash St. that occurred between Thursday and Friday. The incident involved an unknown suspect(s) breaking a window of the building and cutting out copper pipes. More than $3,500 of property was reported damaged.
