A/C thefts continue at homes, church

*Cassandra Roberts reported the theft of $200 of copper tubing from an HVAC unit from her home in the 1100 block of Elizabeth Street that occurred between Monday and Wednesday. The damage caused to the unit during the theft was reported at $2,000.

*Hosea Daniels, of Antioch Baptist Church, reported the theft of copper components, valued at $900, from a/c units at the church, located at 601 W. Elm St.

During the larceny that occurred between Jan. 19 and Sunday, the total damage caused to the units was reported at $7,000.

*Calvin Hodgin, of Landmark Realty, reported the theft of $60 of copper tubing and accessories from two HVAC units at a residence in the 100 block of Lionel St.

The theft resulted in $1,300 in damage to the units. The incident occurred between Tuesday and Wednesday.
