Beekeeper classes planned

The Neuse Regional Beekeepers Association is looking for people interested in learning how to keep bees.
The association is planning a series of beekeeping classes in February at the Agriculture Extension Service office in Kinston. Dates and cost will be determined by the response from the public.

The association is the local chapter of the North Carolina Beekeepers Association, serving Lenoir, Greene, Wayne, Jones, Pitt, Craven and Duplin counties.
The North Carolina Beekeepers Association is the oldest and largest statewide beekeepers organization in the nation. Neuse Regional Beekeepers maintains teaching bee yards in Lenoir, Wayne and Greene counties, supported by the North Carolina Farm Bureau agencies in those counties.
