Relationship expert to speak at MOC on Monday night

David Coleman, America's Dating Doctor, will be on the Mount Olive College campus on Monday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. in Southern Bank Auditorium to give his award winning lecture "Making Relationships Matter."
Coleman spends his time traveling to colleges and universities across the country to speak about relationships, self-confidence, healthy dating, and how to find the person you're meant to be with for the rest of your life.
His book, "Making Relationships Matter," has completed its second printing run, and his previous works, "Date Smart!" and "101 Great Dates" are well respected and continue to impact lives worldwide.
Coleman also has contributed to five collaborative efforts, "Leadership's Greatest Hits," "Let Your Leadership Speak," "BluePrints for Success," "Why We Hover," and" Keys to Success in College and Life."
These publications are all filled with anecdotes, strategies and ideas to help expand relationships and potential.
Coleman holds a master's degree in college atudent personnel administration, and has thousands of appearances to his credit. He understands the developmental needs of today's student and his programs address those areas.
He is the recipient of the 2011 Collegiate Entertainer of the Year award, and has been the Collegiate National Speaker of the Year a record 13 times.
For moviegoers, the film "Hitch," featuring actor Will Smith, was based on his life and career.
The event is free and open to the public.
