Firearms stolen in area thefts

*John Bartlette reported the theft of two 12-gauge shotguns, each valued at $200, from an outbuilding without doors on his property, located in the 700 block of South Beston Road in LaGrange, that occurred between Friday and Saturday.

*Kivette Ivey reported a break-in at her home in the 100 block of Sutton Road in LaGrange that took place between Thursday and Friday. During the break-in, a .32-caliber owl head revolver, valued at $200, a .22-caliber six-shot revolver built on a .38-caliber frame, valued at $400, a $200 TV and ammunition was stolen. Entry was made by forcing open a rear door while Ms. Ivey was out of town.

*Danny Summers reported the theft of a 12-gauge shotgun, valued at $400, and a hammer drill, valued at $200, and 32-foot ladder from his business, located at 3343 Sale Church Road. The theft occurred between Jan. 13 and Saturday. There were no signs of a break-in according to the report.

More thefts

*Terry Williams Jr. reported the theft of a purple and blue 125-cc ATV, valued at $750, from a residence in the 200 block of Smith Winding Lane. The four-wheeler was taken between Tuesday and Friday.

*Millie Edwards reported a break-in at her home on Jan. 20 in the 700 block of National Drive. During the incident, three televisions and jewelry were stolen. A rear door was kicked in to gain entry. The total value of the stolen goods was more than $2,100.

*Angela Kim reported the theft of two laptop computers, a wedding ring, a DVD player, a wrist watch and other items from her home during a break-in Sunday night. Entry was made by the suspect(s) breaking through a rear door. The value of the stolen property was more than $4,500.

*Baldemar Baltazar reported that a property he is remodeling in the 100 block of Emmanuel Place in Dudley was heavily vandalized. A suspect(s) entered the home some time this month and caused $4,000 in damage to the drywall and removed $300 of wiring from inside the walls.
