Grand jury hands down 26 true bills of indictment

The Wayne County grand jury handed down 26 true bills on Dec. 5.
Of all the charges leading to the indictments, 13 were related to thefts and larcenies; seven were assault related; seven involved unlawful behavior by motorists; four were crimes involving firearms; and three were drug charges. Four of those indicted were charged as habitual felons.
Those indicted this month include:
*Joseph Nicholas Holmes, 43, Maple Street, assault by strangulation, assault on a female.
*Jason Scott Taylor, 32, Kinsey Mill Road, Mount Olive, two counts financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud, two counts financial card fraud, habitual felon.
*Andre Gemayle Selby, 27 , Harris Street, assault inflicting serious bodily injury.
*James Moore, 55, Green Valley Drive, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious.
*Mark Christopher Tadlock, 25, Leavie Drive, Pikeville, larceny, possession of stolen goods.
*Darryl Allen Jr., 24, Wilson Street, identity theft, driving while impaired, driving while license revoked, transporting open container of alcoholic beverage after consuming alcohol.
*Johnny Wayne Capps, 20, Vail Road, Pikeville, embezzlement, larceny by employee.
*Roderick Demetrius Blount, 28, East Walnut Street, habitual felon.
*Joseph Raczkowski, 51, Garrick Lane, nine counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor, second degree exploitation of a minor.
*Edward Glyn Long, 30, Lorraine Road, Clinton, larceny, possession of stolen goods, habitual felon.
*Edward Earl Williams, 35, Dale Road, Mount Olive, possession of a controlled substance, driving while impaired, driving while license revoked, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Demarcus Montrell Davis, 26, East Chestnut Street, Fremont, discharging a firearm into occupied property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, felony speeding to elude arrest, resist, delay and obstruct officer, breaking and entering, habitual felon.
*Robert Karl Georgi, 47, Graham Street, Selma, felony driving while impaired.
*Lavanda Mondrel Kenon, 35, Southwest Center Street, Mount Olive, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm into occupied property, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
