Santa's helpers ride for children

Santa Claus, a.k.a. Wendell Woods, prepares to take off from Berkeley Mall on Sunday at the start of the 23rd annual Wayne County Motorcycle Riders Toy Run. Riders left the mall parking lot at 2 p.m. and ended up at the Country Time Tavern on North William Street. Hundreds of bikers participated and collected a pickup load of toys to donate to needy children at the holidays as well proceeds to go to the Wayne Uplift Domestic Violence Program and the Boys & Girls Club.
