Thefts at businesses
*Jerry Keen, an employee of Johnson Steel Company, reported the theft of 9,000 pounds of steel from the business between Oct. 12 and Nov. 8. Keen told Goldsboro police the stolen steel was located in a field outside of the business on the 400 block of West Walnut Street. The value of the steel was reported to be $6,000.
*Donald Faison Sales reported a break-in at Faison Auto Sales, on the 4000 part of N.C. 55 East, between Monday and Tuesday. The suspect(s) pried open the door and removed several tools and auto parts, including a state inspection machine, air guns, socket sets, radiators, hub caps, batteries and hammer tool sets. The total value of the stolen property was reported at more than $6,000 Faison told deputies he is considering that one of the employees may have staged the break-in and made it look like a breaking and entering.
Bullets fired outside of gentlemen's club
Lakeisha McClary reported to Goldsboro police that the windshield and interior of her 2007 Dodge Magnum was struck by bullets that were fired in the parking lot of Teasers night club around 2:35 a.m. Sunday.
Men assaulted, vehicle stolen
Two Cary men reported to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office that they were assaulted and a vehicles was stolen around 6 p.m. Monday. Aziz Touil and Ismail Bartali said they were outside of a residence in the 100 block of Dudley when two other men assaulted them with brass knuckles and brandished handguns. Following the assault, the suspects stole Touil's Jeep Liberty.
Home break-ins
*Janet Davis reported a break-in at her home located in the 200 block of Blue Ridge Road in Dudley. The theft occurred Tuesday night. The stolen items included a PlayStation, 40 DVDs, flat-screen tv, and 4 laptop computers. The total value of stolen property was $3,600.
*Freeman Stepp reported a break-in at his home located in the 100 block of Greystone Drive. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon. The stolen items included an Xbox, $60 and Xbox games.
*Cheryl Moody reported a break-in at her home in the 100 block of Devonshire Drive Wednesday. The items stolen from the home include a flat-screen television, three PlayStations, a WII and a laptop. The value of the stolen items was more than $2,000.
