Boy Scout supporters are being urged to attend a fundraising dinner and auction Saturday night, Nov. 12, at Camp Tuscarora to help raise money to put a new roof on the camp's dining hall.

Tuscarora Council Executive Tim Harper said the council is expecting a big crowd at the event, which starts with dinner at 5:30, followed by the auctions.

He said late last week that organizers were still accepting donated items for the auctions, which promised to be one that Scouters of all ages would not want to miss.

Both "live" and silent auctions will be held with some of the items already collected for sale including sports memorabilia, Scouting memorabilia, sports tickets, lawn equipment, dinners, golf outings, furniture and more.

Space is limited and Harper said people who plan to attend should RSVP or make reservations by calling the Scout office at 734-1714 or by emailing him at tharper@bsamail.org.
