Teen given $201K bond
Michael Antonio Thompson, 18, of Mill Creek Court, was charged by the Goldsboro police for allegedly robbing a man of an AK-47 assault riffle on Aug. 17.
The robbery occurred in the 800 block of Olivia Lane.
Thompson also had active warrants for failure to appear on a second-degree trespassing and a simple possession of marijuana charges.
Thompson was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office around noon on Tuesday at his home. Deputies found him hiding in a back room of the home.
Thompson was taken to the Wayne County Jail and placed under a $201,500 bond.
