Wayne county girl scouts kick off new year

The Wayne County Girl Scouts are preparing to kick off a new year with a series of recruitment and new member meetings.

The kick off meetings will be held at:
* Pikeville Park, 100 W. School. St., Pikeville, 10 a.m. to noon, Sept. 17
* Herman Park, 901 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, 1 to 3 p.m., Sept. 17
* Pikeville Park, 100 W. School. St., Pikeville, 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 15
* Herman Park, 901 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, 1 to 3 p.m., Oct. 15
* Westbrook Shelter, 210 Westbrook St., Mount Olive, 4 to 6 p.m., Sept. 17
