Junior Leadership looking for applicants

The Junior Leadership Wayne County Program is looking for high school juniors with leadership potential who want to learn more about their county.
Applications are available at all high schools in the county and at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce.
Participants will begin the program with a one-day orientation and then spend six days throughout the year focusing on a variety of topics. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about their county and visit places involving local government, industry, health care, history, education, military and agri-business. They also will learn about career opportunities they may not have considered.
Junior Leadership Wayne County is open to all juniors who attend public, private, home school or parochial schools in Wayne County. Applicants must have a solid B or above average and demonstrate leadership in school and/or community activities. The application deadline is Sept. 19. For more information, call 734-2241.
