KINSTON -- The CSS Neuse and the Governor Caswell Memorial state historic site is seeking volunteers.
The site offers a glimpse into two of our nation's most pivotal wars -- the Revolutionary War and the Civil War -- as well as the life of Richard Caswell, the first governor of North Carolina.
The site is looking for outgoing people of a variety of ages that are interested in history. There are a variety of engaging and enriching experiences to be had in pursuing these opportunities.
For retirees or stay-at-home parents that feel like they want more interaction with the outside world this is a great way to do so.
The site is located at 2612 W. Vernon Ave.in Kinston.
