MOUNT OLIVE -- A 30-year-old man died early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Pineview Cemetery Road and Adams Road east of town.
The victim was identified as Julio Castillo Quettell of 106 Taco Drive.
The wreck happened at 5:26 a.m. when Quettell apparently failed to stop for a stop sign on Adams Road.
Quettell was traveling north on Adams Road when he attempted to make a left turn onto Pineview Cemetery Road and pulled into the path of an eastbound mini-van occupied by three people.
The occupants of the mini-van where taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital to be checked, said Highway Patrol Trooper N.J. Talley.
The mini-van was driven by Adelaida Elias, 29, of 114 Cleveland Dr., Mount Olive. The passengers were identified as Belarmino Manuel Lopez-Diaz, 32, also of 114 Cleveland Dr. and Gregarid Valencia Pacheco, 21, of 917 Stanley Chapel Church Road, Mount Olive.
Quettell was wearing a seat belt, Talley said.
Speed does not appear to have been a factor in the wreck, he said.
